The Drawing Room
Curl up in front of a roaring fire and gaze out at the spectacular view of the mountains! This room gives you everything you need to rest and recuperate. The soft comfy sofas, 50” TV with Sky satellite and all digital streaming platforms you could want at your fingertips. Our guests often use the Drawing Room as a relaxed break out area during training activities or simply as the perfect way to while away the hours.
The Dining Room
This majestic room is capable of seating 18 around 1 table or 12 and 6 on two tables in front of a huge log burning stove and Bluetooth sound system. The dining room also creates a relaxed atmosphere for training and planning events with plenty of table space. Our visitors often use the room as an AV enabled hub for activities such as strategic planning, training and development. Need somewhere for a family gathering for 12 or sit down meal your training delegates? not a problem at Lonsdale, it’s your space.The large serving table, hot storage units, and heated serving dishes, enable you to cater for large groups whether it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Every meal will be a delight in this beautiful setting. The 50’ TV with digital channels can also be linked to your phone or computer to enable you to do a presentation or see your photos of the day and relive those special moments.

The Snug
Tucked away on the ground floor is the snug. Designed as a quiet space to either sit and listen to records on the 1950’s record player or to just curl up with a book in front of the bespoke fireplace and log burner. A perfect place to find some ‘you’ time.
Lonsdale Kitchen
The kitchen at Lonsdale is bright, airy and well appointed. When catering for large groups the kitchen has 2 large ovens plus 2 small ovens which also double up as microwaves. A large gas hob, 2 sinks and 2 dishwashers ensure a practical, efficient and ergo dynamic space to create wonderful meals in for your friends and family.The separate ovens and ample space means you can easily cater for different events. If you require a working lunch, or perhaps a hot or cold buffet, you can prepare it yourself or use one of our trusted partners to cater for you. Our enormous central island and solid oak river table are perfect when it comes to catering for large groups.

The Nook
Located next to the kitchen and leading onto the front patio and the wonderful view of the mountains and the Lake district. The Nook is a small bar with a log burner and music system with Karaoke option if feeling in the mood to sing! This is a small intimate space ideal for a gathering before dinner whilst still close to those in the kitchen.
